Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Blabber Boards website (blabberboards.com) and mobile apps (together, the "Service"), operated by Blabber Boards LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
Who can use the Service
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you may use it only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms on your behalf.
Your account
You're responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure. Give accurate information, and let us know at privacy@blabberboards.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.
Your content
You keep ownership of the designs, text and images you submit ("your content"). By submitting content, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, resize, and publicly display it on our billboards and in the Service, for as long as needed to operate the Service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content already on display, which is removed at the next content update.
You confirm that you own your content or have permission to use it, and that it doesn't violate anyone's rights or these terms.
Content rules
Everything submitted is reviewed by a person before it can appear on a billboard. Don't submit content that:
- is hateful, harassing, threatening, violent, sexually explicit, or illegal;
- includes personal information about other people, such as names, phone numbers or addresses;
- infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights;
- advertises, spams, or impersonates someone else; or
- is otherwise inappropriate for display in a public place.
Review and display
We may approve or reject any submission at our discretion, and we don't guarantee that approved content will be displayed, or for how long or when. We may remove content at any time.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Service: for example, don't try to access other people's accounts or data, interfere with or overload the Service, reverse-engineer it except where the law allows, or use automated means to create accounts or submissions.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk. You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in the app under Account → Delete account.
Third-party sign-in
If you sign in with Google, Microsoft or Apple, your use of those accounts is also governed by their terms. We aren't responsible for those services.
Our Service
The Service, including its software, design and name, belongs to us and is protected by law. These terms don't give you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Billboards can be offline, and we don't promise the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to $100. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising from your content or your breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll update the effective date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the Service or by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located there, except where the law of your place of residence requires otherwise.
